Let’s Get Naked

I’m naked right now and it feels fucking amazing…

I fucking love getting naked — no matter time or place.

It’s midday, i’m baws out embracing the skud, without a care in the world. Writing this article with my bare ass cheeks pressed against my desk chair makes my writing feel more naked, raw & authentic.

There’s something so incredibly freeing about having your balls dangle. The same can be said for your dick. In general, uninhibited genitalia is something worth pursuing.

Even with a flatmate nudity can be an option. Either choose your moments or fully own that shit. Walk in to a room with your dick out because you can; just don’t flap it in their face or let them confuse it with lunch.

While making your roommate uncomfortable with your decidedly average penis is one thing, being naked in public or on societies terms is another.

I’m from Scotland and while year-round nudity is ruled out as a survival mechanism (think rain and cold 9 months of the year) it’s also pretty irregular.

Britain, much like other western countries, doesn’t condone sexual liberty.

//At least not to the point of being naked in public//

Definitely not in comparison to countries like Spain, Italy and France who are accustomed to nudity in the form of nude beaches. If you ever visit, you’ll experience the easy-breezy attitude of locals, where nudity isn’t necessarily collated with sex.

Because it doesn’t need to be; we only relate nudity with sex due to our social conditioning.

Being naked is only perverse if you make it so.

Think back to cavemen days when people were kicking about naked on the regular. Get up, forage food, paint cave walls, make a fire, go to sleep & repeat (all while naked).

There’s nothing intrinsically unnatural, pervy or deviant about being naked. If anything, it’s the most natural thing a human could aspire to. We’re born naked, we live naked, we die naked.

Also, right now, underneath your clothes, you’re naked. Imagine that.

Our issue with nudity stems from our perspective. It’s how we view nudity and our inability to separate sex from it. The stigma surrounding sex and nudity has produced generations of misinformed, confused individuals who act out irrationally in an attempt to understand their own sexuality.

This behaviour should never be condoned but maybe there’s a link between sexual stigma and perverts and maybe there’s something we can do to change it for the better.

Perverts

I never thought i’d write the subheading ‘perverts’ but here we are.

The number one issue with adopting nudity as a societal norm is found in the matter of perverts.

How do we determine between them? What do we do about them? Why do we have them in the first place?

Right now, in the UK and Scotland, there has been massive awareness campaigns to bring attention to the problem of sexual assault (which ranges anywhere from rape to groping to catcalling). An innumerable number of young woman have been exposed to truly unacceptable sexual misconduct.

I wonder if there’s any correlation between our inhibited relationship with nudity/sex and sexual assault?

Our lack of understanding surrounding sex and nudity produces a stigma surrounding the subject. Instead of comprehending them as natural human behaviours and conditions, we see them as more of lewd prize.

It’s hard to believe that our acceptance of various sexual preferences — lesbian, gay, bi, asexual, etc — hasn’t been packaged with an understanding and acceptance of sex itself.

If we normalise nudity and make it perfectly acceptable to be so, then surely the act would been viewed as regular; thus leading to less sexual assaults.

The more stigmatised nudity/sex is, the more deviant perverts there are.

It rings true for many other things such as drugs, mental health and income. The one thing they all have in common is that the more stigmatised something is, the more we suffer.

Normalisation

This leads me on to my next point.

How do we change societies opinion?

Truth of the matter is it starts with laws and multiple generations of adoption. You’d have to be legally allowed to embrace your nakedness in public, slanging your cock about in the local park — with the sole intention of tanning your downstairs member.

Sure, we’d get a solid amount of perverts having a chug in public but up the punishment and institute sexual self-defence (If you see someone having a chug in public you should be allowed to batter them — no questions asked. Not to the point of death, just until they stop).

Obviously i’m exaggerating, but you get my point.

Let’s Get Naked

All of this is just a convoluted way of me saying:

“I’d like to be more naked, more often”

Truth of the matter is, i love being naked and wish i could do it more often. I wish it was acceptable give your bare ass cheeks a tan while reading a book in public. I wish you could have a pint in the skud with your mates. I wish i could be more naked in general.

Not to see other people naked, not to perv on others, not to fulfil any sexual fantasy.

Only to experience true, unrestricted, care-free, easy-breezy, nakedness.

As Always,

Yours Honestly,

Liam Lawson.
