It sounds as if you've had a particularly bad experience with men and your relationships with them. I wonder if physical location has any effect on the attitudes and behaviours of men (and women)? . Where i'm from, none of the above behaviours are even remotely accepted with the majority of men i know displaying understanding, thoughtfulness, acceptance and progressive attitudes. It's a shame that this is your generalised view of men, for the most part modern men aren't like this at all (at least in my experience).
